bahh another week has passed... and again, i didnt accomplish much. my life is so boring now i feel like a freakin zombie. everyday wake up, go school, stone in school, whine complain about life, come home, dead tired, sleep, didnt finish homework. bahh i hate this. why can't i WANT to complete my homework. ok i should stop whining. i must psycho myself. i love studying! i love school! i hate sleeping!
went for the UCL talk yesterday. at first i thought we were being super kiasu going over at 4 when the talk started at 430. then i understood why.... lol. despite us being early, there were alr wuite some ppl there! and by 430, the entire LT was squashed. there were ppl sitting on the steps on the floor, EVERYWHERE. lol. lucky we went early. the UCL lady was quite interesting. despite me almost going to suffocate in the no aircon super stuffy LT with lack of oxygen, i was still awake and listening:) hmmm seems like the personal statement isnt that easy as i thought it was. but at the same time, i was quite discouraged when i saw the school fees. its close to $58000 for school fees, $20000 for living and expenses PER YEAR. medicine course is 6 years, so thats a whooping $480000 in total. not to mention that the amount can fluctuate with regards to the exchange rates. plus sadly no one wants to offer scholarships for medicine. so if i really were to go UK to study, i think my parents would have to sell the house and live by the roadside just to pay for my school fees. which is ridiculous. plus medicine students have to fly over to london for an interview. add that to the &480000. sigh. i guess i should just aim to get into NUS med. although i would want to study overseas and experience life in UK, but i guess singapore is fine too. sigh. and i thought choosing a jc was hard last time. haha. oh wells, i shant get too dejected yet. maybe my parents will strike lottery and win like 480000 dollars. ahha. shall study hard so that when my parents win the 480000 dollars, i can go!:)
