haha. school prelims have officially started and here i am blogging!!! ok i dunno why i am feeling so slack, but here i am anyway. maybe its just because its the language papers.
i felt super good about my chinese compo today. ahah. cause su lao shi gave us this ming yan thingy and i went to memorise some and put them in my compo!!! i feel so "you mo shui" haha. i memorised a few and tried to squeeze them in whenever i could find the opportunity to. haha. hopefully i will feel as good about my english compo tomm. jia you!:)
we had this talk by the ppl from CJC today and it was really funny sitting with mons and beng!!! beng was so super lucky she sat behind "chio bu". ahha. and mons was getting so excited everytime chio bu moved. haha. it was really funny!!! esti was saying she was so excited chio bu was near her she was going to bao xue guan. haha. CJC seems fun. their principal brother paul is so funny!!! haha. shall consider it. ahha.
and i have officially hired ben as my lucky star!! when she was around, i had good luck. but when she didnt go for 3rd lang yesterday, bad things happened!!! for one the paper was super hard:/ when i "sacked" her today, i immediately spilled lemon barley all over my pinafore!!! haha. i was quite freaky though. so i have officially hired ben so as to avoid any other mishaps. haha

whoever said that hard work pays off is a liar. rahh. too think i studied so much for my jap paper, it ended up like that. rahh. i made super silly mistakes which are really stupid. and the listening was.... impossible!!! omg i really couldnt catch what they were saying. most of it went by gut feeling. grrr. to think i actually gave up on my mock papers last week just to study for this!!! omg. super depressing.
if this goes on, i am so going to end up in some pok JC, or worse, not get into one at all. wahhh.

prelims have officially started!
haha havent been online for A WEEK. i guess the exam thingy is really getting to me. haha. prelims have officially started. oh wells. doesnt feel much diff. it feels somewhat like tests. which is in a way not good also cause i cant seem to get myself kan cheong about it!!! rahh. had jap oral yesterday and i think i didnt do very well for convo...:( as in my sentence stucture was in a gigantic mess cause i was super nervous and i forgot super easy words!!! gosh. and today's paper wasmt very optimistic either... dont really have much confidence in doing well. hopefully my last papers tomm will help pull it up!!!

we have started sitting at our new seats, aka the exam arrangement. i am now sitting with jeaness:) its like the good old days in sec 2 when we sat next to each other. and i have jacq and yu rui infront!!!:) and kang ning behind again. ahha. jeanesss and i have found a way to keep awake in class. and that is to observe other ppl sleeping in class!!! haha. that day when we were feeling super drowsy in chinese, we started looking at esti sleep and it was damn funny. she kept nodding ff. and we found out some ppl very pro at sleeping. like odd kang. haha. the lame things we do in class... but the bad thing about my seat is that its quite stuffy. cause i am right smack in the middle of the entire class. i counted. haha. and that also means that i cant nod off in class cause the teachers can seee me clearly unlike the days where i sat infornt...
anw, teachers are starting to give us past year papers and worksheets like printing was free. i just cleared my file today and its fat again!! its now almost 6 cm thick. the whole day they just keep passing down worksheets after worksheets, stacks after stacks.... every teacher came in with an enormous stack of worksheets. sigh. i think i need to start bring a box just for worksheets...

gahh had o level oral today. i hope it was ok. omg you know my stupid examiner was SLEEPING!!! or at least falling asleep!! and its not like i am the last one and he has already heard so many. i was only the SECOND!!!!! i can imagine him snoring away when it comes to those at the back. goodness me. somemore he was the one asking me questions!!! i suay la. whatever. it was quite funny also when we were preparing. i was with pei ting and she was reading damn loudly!!! haha. i was trying to control myself from laughing. i was like echoing her, and there was a point we were reading tgt. haha. i dunno why but that amused me like siao. haah. the time keeper was staring at me like i went bonkers or something. ok its over. thank goodness.
came home earyl today so i took a nice long nap in the afternoon from about 4-7 plus. ahha. feel quite energised now. kinda freaking out cause jap prelims is like in 5 days. i have only 5 freaking days left to study everything i have learnt in 4 years. hmm. die. i sort of read trough before, but i always cant rmb!!! aahhh. worried worried worried.

rahh. i am so pissed. but i learnt a lesson today. whatever your mum says, just nod and act as if you agree. no point arguing cause she is always "RIGHT". gahh. a pleasant trip to ntuc just had to turn out this way.
we just left the house, and i merely informed her i was going out tomm to study. i do that every saturday!!! then she suddenly attituded me saying "aiya anw you are always not at home. doesnt make a diff" hey its studying lo! if it was me i would be happy my daughter is actually studying!!! she just gave me this black face. even though i told her i was going out to study.
first she says i'm not studying enough, always on the com. then when i say i'm going out ot study, she is unhappy i am always out. then she says it doesnt make a diff whether i'm home or not. then after she says that she is unhappy about the fact i am always back late everyday. HELLO!!! can you stop changing your mind?!?!! this is so not the first time. then of course i was pissed. then i sulked(non intentionally it just came out like taht) and guess what i got scolded and nagged at again. then it becomes my fault cause i was the one who suggested going to ntuc. its always my fault anw. whatever.
adults think that we have everything easy and that working is the hardest thing on earth. GUESS WHAT. i am sure studying is as hard to ok!!! so stop picking on us and appreciate the fact your daughter is actually studying, not out there somewhere taking drugs or something!!!

had our mock chem paper today. we did the 2007 o level june paper... haha. i didnt really study but i still managed to do! after doing the paper, i suddenly feel like i have hope again... no wonder they say if you can do st nicks paper, o levels will be a piece of cake. haha. ok but i shouldnt speak too soon. lets just hope for the best:) my geog paper sucked though. we did the 2006 prelim paper. i was so dumb as to not read the instructions. instead of choosing 2 OR 3, i did 2 AND 3. then i didnt have time to do the rest. i managed to finish, but wrote rubbish for the 12 marks question. and MAP READING SUCKED!!!! omg i totally didnt know what the hell they wanted me to do la!!!! i was even wondering whether they gave me the wrong map. haha. i am so screwed for map reading. sigh. prelims is going to suck so bad.
i almost fell alseep during chinese today. felt quite bad. i quite lousy la. a bit right after recess and 30 minutes lesson only. but i cant stand it! su lao shi's lesson was like cui mian yao. and somemore he so nice never wake me up. after lessons he still ask me "ye ying, hen lei ya? qu xi ba lian ba" rahh. i feel so bad now. ok i am bringing sweets to keep awake tomm.
went to 3 bookshops today and they all dindt have my pen refill!!! my UNIBALL SIGNO DX BLACK 0.38 is out of stock everywhere. they have all the colours BUT black!!! rahh. i am left to survive on half a pen till the stock comes. and if i drop my pen, i guess i'll have to start using my blood to write. haha. tests are really ink-consuming... i can just imagine the look on the teacher's face if i used blood to do my test.... hahahhaha.

i THINK i have finallly gotten into the mood for studying! studied with wen shin before and after taekwondo on sunday, and i stayed back with jas pang ben and jing ying to study today!!! ahha. mock exams are like @%*&$$@*&*^ ahha. OH OH OH. i even drew up a study plan!!! although i am not exactly following it, but at least i study a bit la huh. haha. ahhh I AM TURNING INTO A NERD!!!!
anw my legs hurt like siao la. a bit on sun during taekwondo all the kicks we did were mostly head level or higher. pain pain pain. and i have a blue black on my hand now thanks to xue ting!!! haha. actually its not her fault la. cause that day i was falling asleep during dunno what lesson, so i asked her to pinch me to wake me up, but she pinched me REAL HARD!!! and a bruise appeared immediately. hahaha. but i asked for it la. ahha. i still love you table mate!!!<3
during studying today marilyn they all came to talk to me about the hcico interaction thingy. sigh. we talked for sooo long. i think they having quite a hard time la. poor marilyn got scolded by huo and wu lao shi for like 45 mins. like wth. thank god i have just stepped down. i saw the secretary's file where they kept all the proposals from the MAF in 2003 its so scary la. i think i would have died keeping all those documents. i pity their secretary too. print so much stuff!!! good luck to karina and magdalene.... my dear secretaries you all must jia you!!!:)

went bugis with mons yesterday morn:) we nerded at the macs there and went to watch RUSH HOUR 3!!!!! haha. omg you all should go catch it. its super funny!!! haha. mons was complaining how horrible shaw was. firstly they had those lan diao tickets. then cause when we went in, they had already started the ads. the place was PITCH DARK. we had trouble finding our seats. the stupid thing was they put the alphabet like for which row at the side of a chair and it wasnt luminated! like how in the world could we find our seats?!?!?! we resorted to using handphones shining around. ahha. it was so funny. rush hour 3 is niceee!!!
then we met up with my son/ her daughter lay beng to go shopping!!! we went bugis street to buy a sling bag. haha. we managed to bargain from 35 to 28. the uncle was really nice though:) after buying our bag, i went to find the japanese cultural society to get the application forms. i was kinda lost cause jas pang gave me wrong directions. rahh. haha.

watched the NDP parade on tv with my mum. both of us kept making lame comments. haha. i was also smsing ben and jas pang laming. hahah. we were saying the president should have arrived in a speed boat or something, since the whole parade was on the bay. taht would be so cool. ahah. ya and other lame stuff. haha. and the ministers all looked damn funny with the lion hat!!! haha. like the ones the drink stall auntie and uncle had.
the show part of the parade was super boring. we almost fell asleep. and we reaalised this year they didnt have a lot of things!!! such as the combined chior singing all those songs and other stuff. i thought the main character the red fishy thingy was damn LAME. it was so diaos!!! but the fireworks were damn NICE!!!!! waaaa i wish i could see it live.... i shall try getting tickets next year!!!:)

national day celebrations!:)
oh man today was so fun. ok actually in the beginning of the thing this china scholar pissed jas pang and i off cause she was like STUDYING during the celebrations. we ask her keep she attitude us. then when jas pang told her off she CRIED. wth. a bit she is in the wrong and she still like taht. wtv.
anw celebrations was fun. all the sec 4s were wearing our cohort tee!!! even the teachers too:) there were lots of singing and stuff, but it got a bit sian after a while cause they kept repeating the songs. and we did like dunno how many times the st nicks wave. all the sec 4s were damn enthu though. sadly, we didnt win the class room deco thing. justice won again(aiya whats new) but we got 2nd la. and we won the fance dress comp!!! lynn was the hero of the day. haha.
we took a cohort photo but it took damn long cause ppl kept walking in and out then we kept OEI ing them. it was quite funny. and mrs goh, ms chan and mrs cheong bought the whole level cornetto ice cream!!! haha. it was yummy:)
went out with yunjie and sara after the celebrations. watched disturbia. it was nice la, but some parts were quite gruesome. and some parts just made me jump. aha. then we went to pasta for lunch:) after eatin we talked for quite some time and started walking around aimlessly. haha. we went up, then around, then down, then to carrefour.. haha. we talked about many stuff... quite fun going out with them la. as in although now we diff class but we still have quite a lot of stuff to talk about.
ok i feel kinda bad about the way i am treating her, although she still gets on my nerves. i think i shall TRY to be nice to her. but dont test my patience, cause i will blow. chill jasmine. you can do this.

concert on fri was nice:) we played quite well i thought. mo li hua was nice:) the emcee direct translated dong bei feng to "north eat wind" and mo li hua to "jasmine" haha. the new comm like still a bit blur blur. they were all quite flustered. but i'm sur they will get ued to it soon:) jia you new comm!!! i couldnt help but nag at marilyn. haha. i was too used to nagging at nikki. but secretary jiu shi zhe yang de ma. haha.
on our way back, we had a lot of fun on the bus. cause i changed sim card with marilyn, i accidentally saw her msg from er hem. haha. then in the end the whole bus started to tease her about it. hahha. we were super noisy on th bus. i was challenging nikki to lame jokes. hers was dirty one lo!!! eeyer. hui min was super funny. she was telling us all her corny love lines. haha. nikki was super amused with them when hui min said it to her. haha. they are really damn corny one la!!!
cause the toilets were all closed, we all had to change in the d room. so we decided to of al the lights then everyone change tgt. poor ming xiu was cheated by the person who was controlling the lights. the 1st time the lights went off, ming xiu already tuo, then someone shouted wait so they on the lights again. haha. she was screaming away and rui juan was trying to cover her up. ahha. tha moment was SUPER funny la!!! hahaa. omg it was so classic man.
anw went for study session again with mons. now left 2 of us only. haha. but i think too many ppl also not good. very hard to concentrate. our study sessions usually quite productive one. hui min serene and their friend were there too. anw, mons and i are super proud to announce that: WE COMPLETED 6 RV QUESTIONS IN 3 HOURS!!! hahaha. we were saying its an impossibility to pass the test anw. mr wong say msg is lke 8 plus. haha. i will be glad if i finish TWO questions on mon.
MONS!!! WE MUST AT LEAST GET A D7 k!!! hahaa:) jia you!
we started to digress when we saw this st nicks girl with 2 guys. haha. hui min they all came to join us and from then on we were all super distracted. but anw, i think mons and i did well on a whole. we completed 6 RV questions and 3 BIO CHAPTERS!!!:) yay!

went back for CO today... it was so much better than last week!!! we are finally sounding like a proper orchestra... hhaa. cant wait for the concert tomm:) hui min and i were talking outside refusing to go in cause they were playing boring songs like xing kong. we almost died when they played qin bing ma yong la. we are the only ones who know how to play!!! qute sad la, cause after we graduate, our juniors wont know how to play songs like qin bin ma yong, and all our old songs which are nice!!!
the national day calss deco today was so... justice is SUPER IRRITATING LA!!! super pissed with them. urgh. they copy ppl then still dare make so much noise. we like practically declared war with them. they wanted to borrow our audio cable and we were saying out loud DONT LEND!!! and somemore scolding them. haha. they so kiasu can!!! wahh. i wouldnt mind if any class wins. AS LONG AS IT IS NOT JUSTICE!!! wa they super super irritating. all the classes cant stand them lo. rahh. they super pissed me off today. COPYCATS!!! bleah.
i realised i have put on quite a lot of weight. oh no. haha. i thought stress will make you lose weight, but i am gaining weight instead. must be my midnight snacks. but not my fault lo. how can you study late into the night without snacks right. rahh. who cares. i still have like one jar of sweets and chocs:)
