its 2009!!! and i'm in genting! haha. first time spending new year in a diff country. feels a bit weird:/ my past few new years were spent staying up late watching the countdown show with my ah ma. haha. this year i spent it in hotel playing sims2. the fireworks here are quite nice too. i could only see the smoke from my room cause i was too lazy to go down and watch, but i heard its nice. lol.
no new years resolution this year. cause i know i wont follow it. lol. looked back at my 2008 new years reolutions and i think i barely fufilled any. haha. i just hope this year everything will go well for my family, and that everyone will be happy and healthy:) and and that my rashes will disappear forever! haha:)
anw yesterday when we took the budget airline, i was thinking they really really really save costs on EVERYTHING. lol. firstly, the boarding pass is not like the nice nice ones you usually see. it doesnt even look like a boarding pass. its more like you know receipt material paper. then the budget terminal was quite warm, not like the nice fresh aircon smell you get in the other terminals. AND we had to walk up the plane using the stairs, which was a bit diff for my ah gong. anw the air stewardess are also damn budget lo. i wouldnt even call what they are wearing uniforms. they were wearing cotton long sleeved t shirts with black casual looking jeans. and a tiger printed scarf. my mum was saying they look like they serve tiger beer, not air stewardess. but thir pronounciation is really quite bad. we couldnt really catch anything that they were saying through the system and the seats were quite cramped up. but i guess i shouldnt complain. afterall we did pay a really low price:) and i got to take a plane ride! although only a short 45 mins. i took lots of pictures of planes while we were waiting to take off and pictures of clouds too!!! v v v nice:)
oh oh! and i know why singapore is such a prosperous country now. its not only because we were lucky we were given a nice small spot on the earth, but its because our ppl are efficient and work hard! ahha. when i got to malaysia, their macs staff was damn slow mo. she can serve me halfway ask me wait then walk out to give someone else her order. and she kinda forgot she was supposed to get my fries and ending up chatting with her colleague who was also in the midst of serving a customer. and in genting, the service staff are also damn slow mo. my mum got so pissed at this guy cause when she ordered the first time, he like heck care like that. then she repeated her order, then the guy finally woke up and asked her what she wanted again-.- my mum and i complained out loud, but they didnt seem to care anyway. i am proud of singaporeans!:) although we are so kiasu and everything, but at least we get the job done! properly!:) lol i dunno why i am in such a complainy mood. i think its partly because i am spending new years in a foreign country and also partly cause i am missing xiao niang re!!! lol:)
