long long day yesterday....
good news first. I GOT AN A1 for my chinese!!! yay!:) so happy. i was so worried la... ok its all over now. so, yay!
estee and i finally brought our mentees to an invest!!! we went to Victoria School invest. i came late from my piano and wei yi's mum brought us there. we were caught in a horrible jam and we were late.:/ sorry weiyi!!! we were supposed to be there at 6.30 but we only managed to arrive at 6.55. ahah. suprisingly, when we got there, the invest havent started yet. (i guess cause the GOH was caught in a jam too)
their invest was kinda diff from the norm. they invest all student leaders. mostly were CCA heads, house captains and their prefects and monitors. the cool thing was they had a FLAG for every single one of the ccas and organisations. they have like 47 CCAs!!! the GOH was quite cool. and i could really feel they have their "victoria spirit". their cheers like all very enthu one. but of course, st nicks one is way better. ahha. but overall like quite messy. its like some ppl wear blazer, some dont; some wear black shoes some wear sport shoeas; some wear long pants some wear shorts. it just looks kinda messy.
one bad thing was that they never like talk to their guests one. like we wentthere and they just left us there. only one person came to ask us how the invest was and left. like quite unfriendly. they very not gentlemanly one. like the pervious ones i went to the ppl all very nice and friendly. its like this one, we were just there to witness the investiture, eat dinner and go home. so.... rahh. and we came all the way from amk la!!!
estee and i had to take bus home ourselves. it was a LOOOOOONG ride home. i didnt really like the invest but at least estee and i got to bring our mentees out. hee. we had fun ourselves. ARENT YOU HONOURED TO HAVE ESTEE AND I AS YOUR MENTORS???? (hints at wei yi and pei yun) ahha.
